for everyone
Man, by nature is lover of thrill and excitement. It is evident in everything he does, and the development of fast moving bikes and cars reflects the attitude of men. To satisfy thirst of thrill, people engage in all sorts of activities like hiking, trekking, bungee jumping, river rafting, snorkeling, scuba diving, and many more such activities. But there is one sporting activity which is the mother of them all, when it comes to thrill and excitement, and that is Skydiving. It has caught the imagination of the people all over the world in no time at all, and the facility of skydiving is now available in many parts of the world. Today it is organized on a commercial scale, and people are allowed to take part in it in lieu of money.

Skydiving

Anyone can take part in this exercise irrespective of age and sex. In fact, there have been instances when people over 70 years of age have done it successfully. Some people have raised questions about safety of those doing skydiving, but so far there have been no major accidents involved with this activity. This proves that it is safe, and perhaps more safe than driving in a crowded city. If you are desirous of taking part in the activity that promises so much, you have to buy the ticket and book the date and time for your session. On the appointed day and time, the session begins with a brief introductory lecture by an instructor who tells you what to expect in the activity and which body positions to maintain during the free fall which is what is considered to be the main part of skydiving. There is no technical training involved and even someone who has never heard of Skydiving before, can successfully carry it out to have all the fun and excitement.

After the brief session, the instructor takes you aboard an airplane and the plane takes the two of you up in the skies to a height of about 12000 feet. If you are feeling a bit nervous, the instructor tries to calm you down. He makes you wear a parachute on your back, and suddenly asks you to jump out of the plane. You do so, and start to fall under gravity like a stone. The instructor also jumps out and the two of you attain great speeds of 150-160kmph. This free fall gives a lot of thrill and excitement to you, but lasts for only about a minute or so, and the instructor opens your parachute when you are about 5000 feet above the ground and you start a slow, gliding descent down to earth. It is now that you see some of the most beautiful natural scenes of clear blue skies and the tiny objects on the ground. In a few minutes you touch the ground.

A photographer shoots you during your free fall and you are presented with a DVD of all the action which you can keep to take home to show your folks.
